Homemade chocolate spread

I am not overly talented in the food department. However, I like nice food that is simple to make like this chocolate spread which both my kids and I love.

The chocolate spread is easy to make. You need 75 gr. hazel nuts, 150 gr. 70% chocolate and a dash of cream (I have also seen a recipe using macadamia nuts instead of hazel nuts and a neutral vegetable oil instead of cream. However, I have not tried that out).

Place the nuts in one layer on a dish and roast them in the oven until they are golden - I put the oven at 225 degrees celsius. Chop the chocolate and put them in a blender glass with the dash of cream. Add the roasted nuts - the warmth from the nuts will melt the chocolate. Blend it all togehter. It it is too thick, add some more cream.  Enjoy - we certainly did.
