Green is the colour of hope and spring

When I went to the shop yesterday, I was struck by the springlike feeling when I saw the lovely tulips for sale. Ofcourse a bunch of tulips followed me home. They look so lovely on the counter along with the Hadeland hurricane which I use almost every day.

Here I have put some of the products that I sell in my shop on display. The bread basket is partly made from vintage fabric (the retro fabric) and the hotpads and the French press cover are knitted and felted of the finest Norwegian wool.

Saturday afternoon happyness

Saturday is my favorite day of the week. After some family activities, it's nice to relax with some creative activities. Today my Saturday afternoon looks like this:

Crocheting and latte. I like my latte with a dash of cinnamon in the coffee.

I was inspired by some of you great bloggers to make a 'Grandma blanket'. So far I have crocheted 16 squares - only about 100 to go... It is nice to combine the colours in any other way whatever I feel like. Maybe it will be finished this time 2012 or something. We will see.

Happy new year - new happy Christmas projects

Christmas came and went so fast - I still find it inspiring to make Christmas ornaments. Maybe it is due to the fact that the weather has been cold, clear and beautiful eversince the first snow fell in December. It is really nice. Also, I have already received a new order for cones for next Christmas, which is also very nice.

Right now I am into making cones for hanging on the Christmas tree - probably especially here in Scandinavia. Here's one of my latest editions:
